Only did the short ride again this year, but did not suffer from cramp like I did last year. I seemed to do just as much walking this year thou, the accents were tough but some of the downhill was fantastic. Usual number of dismounts into the boggy section before the isolated shepherds cottage. Weather was great, not the scorcher we had last year. I managed to stay with most of our party for the whole ride so it made a great social day out. Sue and Adrian did the 42km on single speeds, they must be mad !!. Finally the end section this year was brilliant, although a few of our party managed to miss the sharp right hander during the final decent and therefore did not get a time via the electronic chip.
